Our new Industrial 4G/LTE Cellular Sensor Gateway LoRa provides internet connectivity for our range of battery and mains powered LoRa sensors.
The gateway connects to all cellular networks in Australia (Telstra & Optus) and acts as a 'bridge' between your sensors and the SensorHost Cloud.
A single gateway can be used for up to 50 sensors* in a single location.
IMPORTANT NOTE
There is an ongoing annual SIM charge for cellular gateways of $24.00 plus GST.
One year of cellular charges is included in the purchase price.
Whats included
- Gateway device
- 12Vdc Power supply
- High gain LoRa aerial (165mm) that attaches directly to the gateway (indoor use)
- Cellular aerial (120mm) that attaches directly to the gateway (indoor use)
Depending on your location the gateway can receive sensor data from several kilometres away (in perfect conditions we have actually achieved over 15km!).
Fruitmaps sensors
This gateway also works for our Fruit Map sensors.
Note, most sites will require an external LoRa aerial and an extension cable. This is additional and not included in the base gateway price.
Typically, the gateway is installed in your office or homestead protected from the weather. Then an aerial extension cable (not included) is run from the gateway outside to the highest point on the roof to an external high-gain sensor receive aerial (not included).
