The WiFi Sensor Gateway LoRa 915Mhz is used to provide internet connectivity for our range of battery and mains powered LoRa sensors.
The gateway connects to your WiFi network and acts as a 'bridge' between the sensors and the SensorHost Cloud server.
A single gateway can be used for up to 50 sensors* in a single location.
- Gateway device
- Power supply
- LoRa aerial (115mm) that attaches directly to the gateway
Depending on your location the gateway can receive sensor data from several kilometres away (in perfect conditions we have actually achieved over 15km!).
This gateway also works for our Fruit Map sensors.
Note, most sites will require an external aerial and an extension cable. This is additional and not included in the base gateway price.
Typically, the gateway is installed in your office or homestead somewhere near your internet modem within range of your WiFi. Then an aerial extension cable (not included) is run from the gateway outside to the highest point on the roof to an external high-gain sensor receive aerial (not included).
